| Bentworth is a charming village some four miles north-west of Alton and is reputed to be one of the highest points in Hampshire. It is surrounded by several rural communities and includes a number of buildings of interest. Parts of St Mary's church date from the twelfth century and a cutting from the original Holy Thorn of Glastonbury grows within its grounds. Next door to the church is our village school, now over 150 years old. | ![]() |
